Tiny Pond

Look at this cute little pond. I was curious to see what a lily pad felt like and I was surprised to feel how strong and resistant they are! I could have rested my purse on one. Or at least an iced coffee.

The Collection

This collection is no longer displayed in my home partially because it was starting to freak people out.

How did I do it?

Sometimes I think about my old apartment in Murray Hill and miss it...but today I found this picture of the kitchen there and I wonder, how did I do it for three and a half years?! Note the little doggie eating dinner - even he looks squooshed.

You couldn't open the fridge all the way without hitting the trash can and bumping into my pots, and the oven door would just about scrape the wall when you opened it. My toaster oven covered two of the burners on the stove, and the coffeemaker sat on another one. This place was like a puzzle.

But somehow, it was still cute to me :)

Perk

The nice thing about having your own blog is that you can post as many pictures of your pet as you want to.

Unusual

The purple cauliflower was disconcerting to me every time I opened the fridge.

This is my 1000th post!

In honor of my 1000th post I will post this very cute picture of the men who work at the Sutton Place florist. They saw me taking a picture of the flowers and decided to pose for me. It was very cute.

I just got a call from someone (to be named later) who has been holding on to this postcard for eleven years, waiting for the right time to call me. Just last week Peter told me it's time for me to bring back my former, edgier style. CRAZY. Thank you, Peter and SKIRT!
