Thinking ahead

It hit me today that I should make plans for July 4th weekend NOW so I hurriedly booked a room at the adorable Woodstock Millstream Inn for me and Joe! I am very excited for a summer getaway in the country.

Happy Memorial Day

I like Memorial Day and I like cake.

While I was on Long Island having a terrific time with my family for Grandpa's memorial, Nino was at the downstairs neighbors' apartment with his little neighbor friend, Jack.

The apartment next to mine is empty and available for rent, so Nino and I went in to sneak a peek. OMG! It's got a crappy view, a crappy kitchen (with a tiny fridge!), a crappy closet, and a crappy bathroom! It makes me want to hug my apartment. I love you, little apartment.

Farewell, Kenneth Paul Block
