Snakes and not-snakes

Because I have recently seen two real live snakes in my neighborhood, I have also reacted to each of these things with a muffled scream, as if they, too, were snakes.

Fun was had by all.

But now it's back to reality, and time to settle in to our new home.

Mint or Pink?

I would have thought I would want a mint green scooter, but look how adorable the pink one is.

(*I haven't even test-driven a scooter yet, just dreaming for the future.)

Two more days

Just two more days 'til I go back to the eye doctor and hopefully get the green light to wear contact lenses again. I need a new pair of glasses, too, but they only have fugly frames at this place. What to do.

Feel, Decide, Move

Even though the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" was one of the biggest turds I have ever paid $13.50 to see in a movie theater, something about this image of Julia Roberts riding a bike in Bali jolted me to my core. Now, exactly one year since I read the book (which was magical), I live a life where I ride a bike in a beautiful, warm place every day. Thoughts become actions. It's pretty cool.
