NYC and Brooklyn Happenings:

The PCC on the LES in NYC, minus Joe Terry. Joe Terry was in Brooklyn for the day.

I got these adorable striped espadrilles at Target for $15. Here they are on my feet, on my fire escape (sadly, not a catio). I love all of the lines in this picture.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw these two bespeckled dudes (three, if you count Elvis Costello on the tee shirt) sitting quietly watching the PCC's rockin' show. Do these ironic Brooklyn hipsters not see their own irony!? Devin from Iowa said that Williamsburgh is the most homogenized community he has ever seen. That's sad, hipsters. Get some unique style already!

This dude was taking a break from a hard day of work in Brooklyn on Sunday.

I am done paying a small fortune for coffee. I got a coffee maker (on sale), I had this Starbucks iced TO-GO cup and a couple of green straws lying around the house, so I am beating the system! Also, I will no longer have to get lectured by strangers about how I shouldn't tie Nino to a newspaper box when I run inside to get a coffee.

Now you are all caught up!

This blog may turn into more of a photo blog because I am now posting illustrations on my new Facebook Fan Page:

I post something new just about every day.

What else are you supposed to do with your dog while you run in the coffee shop?

In Vienna, dogs go EVERYWHERE.
