My apartment is coming together, thanks to the very nice things that people throw away on the Upper East Side.


I walked around SoHo last week to see things.


I saw this and liked it.


And I also got to see my friend Shelley and her new little boy, Will. Will kept eyeing my tomato soup. I wasn't sharin'.

First and last

My first and last JETS football game. Alli Arnold don't sit in the cold for 5 hours for NOBODY. But it was fun. I got two beers, a footlong hotdog and a hat. Festive!

There's a life lesson in here somewhere.

Last week I went to every thrift store and Goodwill and Salvation Army in New York City looking for a chair for my apartment, and I was under the gun to find one because my mother was coming to visit and I didn't want her to have to sit on the floor. I didn't find a chair... But then!


Last night, while walking the dog, I came upon this perfect little chair, put out as trash, that matches my apartment perfectly.
