This hand stitched work of artistic genius was created by my friend and fellow Art Department illustrator, Stephen Campbell. I wonder if my mom's doctor would have appreciated consulting this medical illustration when he was creating a new esophagus for my mom out of her stomach?

I think he did. My stomafagus is red backstitched-I saw it on an x-ray! dpa
This is as good as any fancy schmancy medical diagram...as far as I know, I am not a doctor.
