Brooklyn is new to me.

This is where THE BLACK KEYS played last night - McCarren Park Pool. It opened in 1936 and could fit 6,800 swimmers at a time! The pool has been closed for decades and since 2005 they have been having shows here. I hear that this is the last summer it will be a rock venue. Everyone out of the pool!

The Black Keys are playing tonight in Brooklyn.

Cover Bear

This fella had a photoshoot with Real Simple FAMILY a few weeks ago and he made the cut to be on the cover! The issue will be out mid-August. Let's hope being a Cover Bear doesn't go to his head.

This was me at 2 a.m.

Poison Control Center had a show in Philly last night and I wasn't ready to say goodbye, so I went on the road with them. The night included me playing maraccas on stage with the PCC and Apples in Stereo, sharing cheesesteaks and hoagies, running the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art like Rocky at 2 a.m. (fists held high), and driving 45 minutes to a house in New Jersey to sleep on a strangers' floor. I had a great night.
